Seeff Blanket Drive 2022

To keep a heart warm in winter is the real victory.

As the mist rolls in over the iconic Table Mountain in Cape Town one cannot but pull up a chair, grab a warm cup of hot chocolate and snuggle up under a blanket in front of the winter fireplace. This sure sounds like the prefect description of a truly cold Cape Town winter but unfortunately this is not the reality for many people and animals during these cold winter months.

One sometimes can easily forget those less fortunate not having the pleasure of a warm blanket or beverage during these times. This is exactly why everyone at Seeff offices in the areas of Brackenfell, Kraaifontein, Kuils River, Ceres, Lamberts Bay, Franschhoek, Langebaan, Malmesbury, Paarl, Paternoster, Stellenbosch, Tulbagh, Velddrif, Vredenburg and Wellington decided they want to make a difference in the lives of all with our Seeff Winter Blanket Drive.

What started of as a support campaign to those less fortunate soon turned into an attempt of world records as blankets started pouring in from far and wide. Local community knitters literally took at their knitting and crocheting needles and started turning yarn into blankets. Local business started putting up Seeff receptacle bins to collect blankets on behalf of branches and soon suppliers and service deliver companies to branches started arriving with latterly bakkie loads of warm blankets in all shapes and sizes.

Thank you to each and everyone that opened their hearts to those less fortunate and helped us in making our Seeff towns a little bit warmer this winter. We salute you all!
